We have fully embraced the combination of technology with analog mediums at Lone Star and use digital capture for high res scanning. Our scans are made on a custom copy table light box with a 102mp medium format camera and specialized industrial lenses that maintain sharpness well into the corners of images. This is not an off the shelf setup, but custom made to make sure we capture all the detail in your film or print. Our setup is capable of meeting or exceeding the sharpness of good drum scans, while capturing the color depth modern digital cameras are capable of.
